Why Kith exists
The village used to just exist.
Now it needs a little help.
Generations ago, mothers didn't schedule childcare — it happened naturally, in neighborhoods where people knew each other by name, dropped kids off without second-guessing, and trusted the community around them.
That village still exists. But modern life scattered it. We built Kith to bring it back — with the structure and accountability it needs to actually work in 2025.
Not a marketplace for strangers. Not an app that replaces relationships. A small, verified circle of moms who show up for each other — reliably, repeatedly, reciprocally.

Verified, not random
Every mom in your pod passes identity and background verification. You know exactly who is watching your child — and so do they.
Scheduling that actually works
Kith handles the logistics of rotating swaps — request care, offer care, track hours. No spreadsheets, no group chats, no "I think it's your turn".
Small and intentional
Pods stay between 4 and 5 moms. Small enough to feel personal, large enough that coverage is always there when you need it.
Built on reciprocity
No money changes hands. Care hours are tracked fairly so everyone gives and receives equally. It is genuine mutual aid — the original childcare model.

Get matched with nearby moms
Tell us about your neighborhood, your children, and your schedule. Kith finds 3–4 moms within a short drive who are a genuine fit — similar ages, aligned availability, and compatible childcare styles.
Your pod gets verified together
Each member completes identity verification and a background check through Kith. You then have a short group intro call to meet each other — because trust is built between people, not just by algorithms.
Schedule swaps with no friction
Request care, offer care, and track hours in the app. Kith balances the hours automatically so no one keeps score manually. When Thursday gets chaotic, you have four people to call — not zero.
